Hey there! My name is Lizzie, nice to meet you! I am a creative who wants to use my passion for design to take messages for the public and turn them into an appealing, visual that catches eyes, and gets people to actually pay attention to what is being said. I believe that strategic communication and public relations can be used to bring people together and to highlight both the world's needs and the wonderful things it and its people already have to offer. What is Communication?
Communication is a dynamic process that includes the sending and receiving of messages between one or more parties.
What is the value of an umbrella department?
The value of an umbrella department comes from learning broad knowledge in the communication field while also gaining specialized experience in the true focus of the career you want to pursue.
What is the value provided to society by a communication graduate?
The value a communications graduate brings to society can be shown in a variety of ways, from the truth-sharing of journalism to the representation of companies and individuals that the public can interpret on their own, and make educated choices and judgments based on the PR/advertising they consume.
How I am a positive representation of the department:
I am a positive representation of the department because I care about this field and want to put my best foot forward in all I do while in school and when I eventually enter the workforce.
